"Och 12 poäng från Sverige går till ..." Varje år är det en känd profil som delar ut Sveriges poäng under finalen av Eurovision Song Contest. Nu är det klart att det blir Danny Saucedo som får uppdraget i år. "Skitkul", tycker Danny själv. Och han lovar att tittarna inte sitter säkert när han dyker upp i rutan.

Danny Saucedo är glad över uppdraget att få synas i rutan under direktsändningen från Düsseldorf den 14 maj. Det var Sveriges head of delegation Thomas Hall som gav honom frågan, och han var inte sen att tacka ja.

- Jag tycker att det låter skitkul. Man får vara där men ändå på säkert avstånd, säger Danny.

Men tittarna kommer inte att sitta säkert när han dyker upp i rutan. Danny lovar att något som bryter ordningen är att vänta.

- Jag kommer säkert att dra till med något skämt. Man måste jävlas lite när man är i rutan, säger han.

"Inte som GW Persson"

Samtidigt tycker Danny att det är viktigt att vara tydlig som poängpresentatör. Men han är inte nervös inför uppgiften.

- Jag ska inte sluddra som GW Persson. Men det är ett väldigt lätt jobb, det känns som om det är svårt att sjabbla bort, säger han.

Vad är det värsta som kan hända?

- Att man ger fel poäng och måste rätta sig själv. Det vore ingen höjdare om fel artist fick fira tolvan!

Nöjd tvåa

För egen del är Danny inte en bitter tvåa. Han ser snarare andraplatsen i Melodifestivalen som en jackpot. Efter att avslutat en turné med EMD och spenderat en semestervecka i New York börjar han nu förbereda sin soloturné.

- På Melodifestivalens finaldag ville jag vinna och hade ställt in mig på det, men nu är det soft att slippa sticka ut hakan i Europa. Jag önskar att det ska gå bra för Eric i stället, säger han.
